Subway Stalked- by Refinery 29
A few weeks ago I had a very stylist woman approach me on the L train heading to Manhattan, and ask to take my picture. I said, “sure why not”. After awkwardly posing as if she weren’t there, I asked what the photos were for. I figured they were for a style blog as there are many young, trendy, fashion bloggers in New York but I didn’t expect her to reply, “Refinery 29”, aka THE fashion blog. I was very excited and didn’t know when to expect to see the picture but I was honored that Refinery 29 thought I was stylist enough to be apart of their re-occurring street style blog entitled “Subway Stalkers.” Thanks Refinery 29!

If you like to make up stories about fellow subway riders (where they come from, where they’re going, what they do), you’re not alone. In the times between the opening and closing of those sliding doors, we find ourselves daydreaming about all the cool commuters who surround us (that is, when we remember to look up). This little game of make-believe inspired us to send a photog to capture this inspiring scene. That’s right: We snapped tons of stylish subway riders to create a flip book of Gotham City faces that proves New Yorkers look good all the time. Ahead: 73 reasons to dream on.
